Mine skips pages frequently as well, but only if I tap, which it probably occasionally reads as two taps, or when I wasn't sure if I swiped correctly, and do it a second time because page took too long to change after the first one.
It would be nice if the kobo updated something in a status bar or a small icon at the top of the screen or something when a page turn was accepted instead of waiting for it to calculate the page turn before seeing any changes.
I would say it would be nice if it would ignore page turn events while it was turning the page until after the page turn was complete, except that sometimes I really wanted to turn three pages rapidly without seeing the ones in between.
