I just want some clarity on whether or not you believe, if a chicken could get a Colonel into a pot, it would be successful in cooking said Colonel.

If you agree the chicken would be successful, but simply doubt whether it can pass the critical threshold of catching and shoving the Colonel into the pot (or knocking the Colonel over the head and bundling him unconscious into the pot), then I would have to continue the discussion, by responding that chickens are clearly, as demonstrated just a few posts ago, a lot more sneaky than you, solitaire1, had suspected.
