FInished Flee; excellent book. Debating whether I want to pay lots of money for the sequels (I am sure they are just as exciting, but I try to limit my purchases to under $2/book).
Meanwhile, I've read The Naval Warfare of World War II: The History of the Ships, Tactics and Battles that Shaped the Fighting in the Atlantic and Pacific by Charles River Editors. Okay, this was a fast read; because the contents are only slightly larger than the title itself: this is more of a summary of the primary naval engagements, with a handful of pictures thrown in for good measure. Not only that, but the choice of pictures was poor. Seriously, shaky pictures of burning objects that resemble ships may work for A&E, but I want to see more in a history book. Very disappointed, but at the same time, I got exactly what I paid for, which is nothing.
Now, that reading did inspire me to go to find something a little more entertaining in the way of naval tactics, and I picked up On Basilisk Station by David Weber.
