Sorry to hear you have a pin hole in your new Aura HD! I don't remember reading too many posts from people with pin holes in their Aura HDs. And my personal experience (admittedly very limited--one device) is a perfect screen with no pinholes. I agree the screen is yellow--when compared to my Kindles. Personally, I don't really have a preference for the lighting--like the display on my Kindles and my Kobo equally.
