The central concept behind the College Cookbook was to develop a list of recipes that all of us could use in a pinch when we want a delicious meal, but are limited on time and materials.
. . . .
I can think of quite a few other people who might use such a cookbook. There are bachelors who don't like to cook, people on lunch break who work at a grocery store (so getting the ingredients is not a problem) who want a quick, good meal (a microwave is generally the only cooking appliance in a break room), a mom (or father, if he is the one who cooks) pressed for time to get a meal out for the family. I got this book that you posted for myself, as one who often wants to just stir up something quick and good.

I bought a cheap or free ebook a day or two ago that was all about meals that you could fix your child for his lunchbox. I don't have a child in that situation, but the meals looked so tasty, and there were lots of recipes! I got it for myself!

So, I think that this is a great find. Thanks.
