And some of it's flatly bizarre. IIRC, in a list of desserts, the word "jelly" was changed to Jello, but treacle (a word unknown to many Yanks) remained. And "Mom" from an English kid! That's so very, very wrong; it grated every. single. time. Good thing Lily was dead, so we didn't have to hear it too often. At least in later translations, they left that one alone.
