This book is primarily a topical "bible" (the book description refers to it as a "topical concordance." That's a new one to me. But whatever.) A topical bible lists places in the Bible where a particular subject is mentioned. This is a very helpful tool in Bible study.

You may say, "I have a concordance [a concordance lists places in the Bible where particular words occur], so why do I need a topical bible?" Well, a concordance can be used to help you find where subjects are mentioned. However, there are at least two drawbacks to using a concordance for this. For one, using a concordance usually necessitates that you search several for different key words that could be associated with a subject. So, it's more time-consuming (not only for this, but also for other reasons.) Second, you may fail to find a lot of passages in the Bible, because many times a subject can be mentioned without using any of the key words. So, a search leaves you with incomplete results. Perhaps you see, then, the advantages of a topical bible.
