Corrupted USB storage area.
Put it on a wall charger (**NOT** a PC - a wall charger - it makes a difference - the file system recovery can not run while the area is connected to a PC) -
Let it sit there and run until it fully recovers the USB file system.

Note: The above may take days - so just leave it alone.
