I've settled on the Paperwhite 3. Thanks to everyone for your input it's appreciated.
Are the dimensions of the Paperwhite 3 identical to the Paperwhite 2? For case purposes? A close fitting hard backed shell case.
P.S. A very special thank you to the person who suggested we didn't value our grandmother if we bought her the less expensive model
