I don't listen to a lot of audiobooks, and when I do I get them out of the library, at the net cost of my rates, which I'd have to pay anyhow. There are also a variety of well-stocked audiobook subscription services which would be a good option for those who don't want to wait for popular library books.
TTS is fine for a very short time, but I can only listen to the robot for so long.
