My fault, I should be more specific. For the word 'handle' I mean import and transfer, and the 'title' should be changed to 'file names'. I mean it will change the file names and makes them hard to recognize in the Koreader file manager. According to the project manager, this is done for the compatibility. I know there is a 'save to disk' function to preserve the file names but I'll lost the book shelf and kepub function if I use it.

For the fmon/calibre/kobo-plugin issue, if it success after using the device plugin (treat the device as a folder), is it right to make a conclusion that it is the plugin that should be blamed? And if I test it on an older firmware with the same setup and succeed, then it shouldn't be the fmon/calibre/kobo-plugin, right?

I've only read the rcS and fmon scripts (not fmon source, which I failed to find) briefly, and I don't understand the operation detail of nickel and calibre. Is it okay to throw this problem to the developers at this stage without knowing which one is the culprit?
