By accident, while checking if a pdf ifilter was present in the file types list for search (control panel, indexing options, advanced, file types), I discovered an epub ifilter. I changed its settings to "index file name AND contents" indexing. It then changed to "plain text filter". Indexing is still running. I'll report more when the indexing is finished.

I've wanted this for years. Even had a go at writing my own iFilter - worked on XP but not on Win7 - and it was flaky. I always keep an indexable format (PDF, TXT, DOCX etc)

Living in a country starting with 'A' probably means I'll get the free release last - reverse polish sorting
