A few things that might push you toward the PW3, if you haven't decided yet.

- Do you read in bed using the K3 lighted cover? Do you have a partner sharing that bed? If so, the front-lit screen is far less intrusive for the other person.

- Do you read on planes? Same thing -- far less intrusive for your neighbors who might be sleeping on that red-eye flight.

- Do you make highlights and comments? If so, the PW3 will be FAR superior! Typing, contrary to initial impressions, is far better on the touchscreen. [I say this as a 100+ wpm typist on a real keyboard]

- Do you look up words as you read? If so, touching a word in the middle of the page to look it up is far easier than navigating to it with the arrows.

- Do you read books with footnotes? Same as above.

- Do you read primarily outdoors? In this single use case you may find the K3 to be superior. The touch & light layers slightly degrade the screen outdoors, and I can't help but see the touch layer "dots", at least on my PW1.

I thought I'd miss the page turn buttons, but after a few days I really didn't care... it's almost the same. The only real drawback for me is if I'm reading as I get drowsy and am half dozing I tend to have more accidental page turns as my thumb stops hovering over the page so well. :-)
