I had a similar problem with a Penguin title in the last week: my old credit (before Prime Day) counted for part of it, but the rest came off of my gift card total. It seems if the price is being set by the BPHs these credits no longer work. They still seem to work fine for other books, videos, or music. Just damn frustrating, especially if you are using 1-click.
