It wouldn't hurt me much to do a clean install as I only have a few apps installed besides the Office suite. I think I'll just wait for MS to push the update and if (when) that fails go for the Media Creation Tool and a clean install.

Thanks for that....I've got three each failures on my desktop and my laptop....
I'm not going to force anything on my desktop.....and may just standby a while on the laptop, but googling around it seems Microsoft may have screwed the pooch once again....
