Have a look at PocketBook Touch Lux.
I used to recommend them a lot, but recently the newest versions of firmware aren't what they used to be ... . Still a very decent device with some third-party apps available, lots of customization options (not as many as they used to have in their heyday ... sigh ...) and large number of supported formats.
