It was that or return the book and get a refund. (Return here being losing access to it.) I decided the extra credits was the better option.  |
I contacted Amazon too and they said there was an open ticket for this problem. In my case $0.97 was applied and I had $13 left, but the remaining $1.02 was applied from my gift card. He asked a few people in his area and they were all stumped as to why some credits were applied and some not. He converted my credits to credits that could be used for anything digital or for physical items sold by Amazon. He also added $5 in credits.
