Charles Dickens' notes solve the mystery of unidentified Victorian authors

This article in the Independent newspaper

http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk...-10384128.html

is about the discovery of bound versions of Charles Dickens' journals Household Words and All the Year Round which have annotations by Dickens himself giving the authors of the various articles and stories in the journals. Most of the authors in Household Words can be identified from other sources, but nearly all of the authors in All the Year Round have been a mystery.

The full list of authors has not been published yet, but should be an invaluable resource when it is.
