Kobo has had a very unsatisfactory customer service ever since bought by Rakuten. Rakuten also bought out buy.com and are just as awful with purchases made there.
And I agree with previous post that Amazon is much easier to deal with, the only reason I have stayed with Kobo is because I have a VOX tablet and I can use the contest codes to purchase ebooks cheaper that way than the regular price at Amazon. It truly is a shame that the company has such poor customer service.
