Also, it took me about a day before the reservation icon showed up and several days after filling in the form to get the email. Same for both; a vintage desktop upgraded to Win7 and a new win8.1 portable.
A billion upgrades in a year is a lot of upgrades each day.

I checked if the update was installed (it was). I didn't try uninstalling/reinstalling, instead I ran the batch file, which made the icon show up pretty quickly, and than I reserved my copy.
