They work fine and I myself had Telegram installed and active most of the time on my Boyue T62+.

But the more apps you install that are gonna keep the device's WiFi and CPU active and wake the device up every few minutes to check for new messages, the faster its battery will drain. One of the good things about E-Ink screens is that they consume much less energy than for example LCDs and that's why you'd get sometimes weeks out of each time of recharging the battery!

Some apps like Gmail and GDrive in my case were causing the device's battery to go from 100 to 0 in just less than 2 days while I've been getting almost 0.0% per hour of battery drainage without them which would lead to weeks of battery life!

If you really need such apps then I suggest you to at least disable their options to constantly check for new messages and waking the device up for every new notification, or you'd have to recharge the device's large battery every day or two!
