Support has responded, said it was a technical error, so it apparently should have been applied.

I hate 1click too for that reason. If it was an error, did they give you a credit for what should have been applied? I'll have to contact them as well since the old credit I had was applied to a book, but the new credits weren't. I thought it was a bug that the old credits were applied to big publishers.
