I have a couple of friends whom I've persuaded to buy CyBooks, having seen mine, and neither of them would ever dream of doing anything more than download a book and reading it. I've offered to show them how to use "ConvertLIT", etc, but they just aren't interested. I think they are far more typical of the "average" eBook consumer than you or I are.
However, let's wait and see what Readius themselves do in the way of offering commercial content. My fears may be groundless.
