I have been a Calibre user but mainly for the Editor, also for converting. I did ignore the calibre-server function... Thanks for this precious information: it seems definitely more handy to use with Koreader OPDS tool than the "Calibre wireless connection" which would be probably too invasive.

Do you use a script or a specific command to turn on calibre-server? I'll try to write a small bash script.
