Yes, in the situation you are in. Canceling the folder navigator is how you tell CC that you want to change accounts. Once you find and select a library the repeated authentication should stop.
And yes, using the folder navigator to change accounts isn't obvious. Here is what I said in the CC FAQ:

CC maintains information for one account for a given cloud provider. There are two ways to make CC forget about that account so you can use another. The first: use "Reset cloud connection" found in Settings or on the menu when connected to the cloud. The second: select "Change cloud libraries" then cancel the folder navigator. In both cases you will be logged out of the cloud and be given the opportunity to login to the other account when you next connect.
