You can't choose CR3 from the "Open with" menu. The firmware allows only the default apps in that menu.
You just have to set CR3 as the first choice in extensions.cfg so that it's used as default (It still won't appear in the menu).
I've attached my working extensions.cfg (I've got Touch Lux 3 with FW5.9 too)
