With Win10 incoming, ZDnet prepared a slideshow looking back at Windows' 30 year history:

I have actually used PCs with all those versions.
(Plus MS-Dos 1-5, Xenix, Att Unix for PC, and DR-GEM. Dunno if running IBM mainframe code on an AT-370 counts as a PC OS.)

(OS/2 we tested but never made it to production. Too pricey.

Looking forward to Win10 erasing some (all?) of Win8.1's MPD issues.
It really looks promising.
