Some of them will hardlinks to the common data stream. If the file size, timestamp and checksum are the the same then its a safe bet they they are.
Others will be different versions of the library. Its related to the dependency hell problem (known as DLL Hell in windows land) and being able to run 32 bit Windows programs on 64 bit Windows (

Before removing fonts trying running Disk Cleanup as admin with the Windows Update Cleanup option checked - you might have to run it multiple times
