You can always edit it to tone down your disappointment in us party poopers.
You could also replace your post with the text "deleted", which is as good as deleted. Personally, when I spot such posts I delete them to clean things up (I can do that because I have moderation powers in this subforum).
I assume you no longer need that post deleted, though.
Some people care about typography, some people don't. I'm afraid you won't get any satisfaction from people like me who are indifferent.
No one has any hard knowledge of anything, I guess we all just have to wait.

do think it is rather weird, and unwise, for Amazon to advertise the update before they are ready to release it.
You need a cult following (*cough* Apple *cough*)
to pull that off, otherwise it just doesn't make good business sense.

have had generic schmoozing about the anticipated update, in threads that didn't seem specifically targeted to "query: when is Amazon going to send the update".
