You could always order both and return the one you don't like (or return both if you like neither). Even seeing in a store is not necessarily going to give you the information you need, as you cannot control the lighting and demo units might not be up to snuff. Plus you probably need more time with them to evaluate than you'd have in a store.

I have not seen either device but it is not the same screen: the top layer is different and most people report text 'pops' more on the Voyage. Specifically, Voyage has a glass layer, Paperwhite has plastic layer.
