When Kindle launched, the biggest ebookstore around carried 30,000 titles.
A year later, Kindle carried 90,000.
A year after that it was in the 300K range.
Today it's running 3.4 Million and will probably hit 4 million titles by the time the 8th anniversary of Kindle rolls along.
