Just blanking out words with asterisk * isn't really that useful, but subbing in alternate phrases and words would be great.
Do you think a plugin could accomplish this?
@abinning - Toxaris' Toolbox, Search and Replace feature can do this. It operates on Word files, IIRC he's hinted that he might port some functionality into a calibre editor and/or sigil plugin to operate on ePub files. See e-Book Tools - a Word add-in
