I'm interested in getting a kobo (possibly an H2O) but I want to know how highlights and notes work.

-I've read that there's no simple way to export highlights and notes from kobos, is this true?
-And what if I install and use Cool Reader -- does Cool Reader allow for easy retrieval of highlights and notes? I couldn't find much information about Cool Reader in this regard.
-Can Cool Reader even be installed on the H2O?

The highlighting will be the deciding factor on whether I will get a kobo or not. Thanks!
