I'm listening to First Lensman right now. I'm enjoying it, but I'm not sure I would as a first time read. It's over the top and I don't take it seriously. I'm not sure I ever did take it seriously. Lensman was never my favorite series from him. I've read a few others recently and enjoyed them. Spacehounds of IPC is probably my favorite of his and I can remember even as a teenager I didn't take it seriously.

I didn't read any of the skylark books until I was an adult. I enjoyed them enough to read them when the SFBC brought out the combined edition, but they have never made it onto the reread stack.
