Hello! I will get my KV soon, so now I collect information on how to get jailbreak. I have read that I have to use serial port for this. This will be my first experience in jailbreak Kindle and in Linux, so I apologize for the questions that may seem silly to you:
1. Getting jailbreak on KV is analogously to getting jailbreak on KPW2, right?
2. Can I use this adapter (http://www.aliexpress.com/item/1PCS-...127054200.html) with this level shifter (https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=162775) ?
3. The battery does not need to be taken out during manipulations, right?
4. Can I disconnect the wire after getting root?
