No, it's actually a lot worse than that.
The OP doesn't seem to realize that the calibre "E-Book Viewer" is not, in fact, secretly an "ereader device previewer".
Resizing the E-Book Viewer is actually a perfectly normal thing to do, assuming you have any idea what the heck an ereader program is supposed to do.

Granted, there appears to be an additional problem in that the book is indeed ill-made if text is going off the side of the window -- it is extraordinarily hard to mess that up even if I thought the E-Book Viewer hadn't received any thought or polish!
(It is of course very easy for ebook makers to mess it up though. All it takes is stupidity...)


Oh, and it must be nice to be able to dismiss a multi-million-user program as worthless and sucky rather than oneself as a clueless user (luser, and boy is that term ever applicable ).
I wonder if it only took him 30 seconds to "learn?" how to use his MacBook? Might explain some things...
