If a book is for sale, it NEEDS an attractive WELL DESIGNED cover. It is an indication of how seriously the author/publisher takes his/her work. An indication of overall seriousness of intent to me.
Sorry, I may not have been clear . . . . I wasn't saying that I thought that it was good that some books do not have covers, I was just saying it is better to be informed than to be ignorant about the matter.
