Works fine for me with that story.
There's probably firewall or antivirus software on your computer blocking outgoing connections. If you're on a 'public' network instead of a 'private' one that may cause it to behave differently.
Usually that error comes from trying to open an
incoming port, but the plugin only opens outgoing connections.
