I'm just the opposite. I have a Voyage and I'm more than happy with it but if they made a 5" model I'd love that.

I never liked reading hardbacks. Before I began ebooks I almost always read paperbacks. Some where the larger trade type but most were the regular size ones. Kindles' reading area is a bit larger than those typically were. Probably the same length but a little wider.

I don't really care that much about the size of the reading area. I'm more concerned about the size of the device. I want it to fit comfortably in my hand. I want it to be small enough to grip comfortably. With a paperback I could grip it anywhere but with an ereader I have to avoid the screen for the most part and grip on the bezel or the two sides. With my Kobo Aura I can hold it from behind and get a good grip on both sides and that's my preferred way to hold it. But the Kindles, at least the current ones, are just a bit big for that.
