I know I've ranted (is that a word?) about it before but this time it is absurd.

I got used to the Idea that certain Publishers, when sending you stuff to read & review, send "big" files (ie 3-5 MB for a novel) today got one and $%#$% they went overboard. I normally get (Downloadd) their Mobi format (since it's the closest to being a "Retail" release) of the book and then unpack it to get a epub (as their epub seems to be an afterthought).

Today I got another Novel from them to read, but almost fell off my rocker when I saw the bloated size of it. Attached a screenshot to illustrate. Using Kindleunpack on the mobi I found that there is an image, this image (4770x5850) is 30mb of the 32mb that the book consist off, and they downscale it to 100x100
