I picked up a Kindle Voyage today to compare, and despite needing a azw3 conversion (which I was already doing for an older Kindle), it fits what I want to do a lot better. So the Kobo's going back.

It's a pity, but it is important to choose a device that fits you, not the other way round. I think some people here forget that.
Thanks. The second one looks like it.

Congrats...? I don't think I want to know how many hours I spend reading.

I wasn't boasting

I just noticed the number on the home screen as "999". I like numbers like that, but am always suspicious when I see them. So I'm wondering if the counter might be stuck. I'll see later.
But thinking of the hours I've read, 999 hours seems a bit low. It should be the number of hours using any Kobo ereader. If I read one hour per day, that works out as 2.7 years. I'm at about 3.7 years with my Kobos and I would have thought my average was more than one hour a day. Plus, both my sons use Kobo's that log into my account, so should be contributing. Admittedly, one hardly reads, but for the other, an hour in a day would be a very light day.
