Mystery to me as to how they choose. It's like that offer for the HD 6 a week ago. Not only did Amazon target certain individuals for the offer (leaving others out), but they offered different discounts of $30 off, $50 off, $70 off.

Also keep in mind that new devices will be released in about 3 months with sales to clear out old stock; and then the following month is Black Friday with even better discounts.
