I recall buying this trilogy for 99 cents US (price has since gone up), and I'm on the third volume and I'm enjoying this very much. It's pretty well written for a new author (new to me, at least) from Amazon's equivalent of the bargain bin.

It's clear Stone is at the beginning of his writing career, but I suspect he will only get better and stronger as he progresses. I've enjoyed the books very much and while the main character is pretty well developed, I felt the supporting characters were a little two dimensional though they weren't obnoxiously so.

One of the great perks of eReading is the sheer number of new authors willing to let you read their stuff for cheap or for free. This is one to look at if you like dystopian stories or you like new writers.

Worth a look.
