@phossler: I really dont want to spend time adding option everywhere to load ids from a file just to workaround windows abysmal default shell -- if you intend to do a lot of work at the command prompt, I suggest spending some time familiarizing yourself with a more powerful shell -- modern windows comes with powershell by default and you can also install many traditional unix shells via cygwin or the msys project.
