Sounds like he's already into the hyping of this product. (A novel seems a misnomer; 'product' sounds more like it.)

Well, I'm going to finish my coffee, and then I'm going to come back here and tell you all about how it tasted, what I thought as I drank it, and whether or not I needed to take a bath afterwards.
