I think I might buy a nice display case with glass and surround it in velvet backing and put the Classic and my PDA (also mint, and originally priced at $550) on display.
i have the ipod gen 5.5 80GB (aka ipod video). i use it in my car for offline music. and occasionally as an external hard drive.
