I don't have that problem. My cell phone is the smallest, cheapest, least powerful feature phone Samsung makes, used with a prepaid plan. All it does is calls and SMS, and that's all I want it to do. Anything else is something else's job. It doesn't have auto-correct. If I ever get a phone that does, being able to turn that off will be a requirement.

Autocorrect aside, my issue with smartphones is that the stuff I consider something else's job simply requires a larger screen than a practical phone will have. My 7" Android tablet is at the low end of usability, and anything smaller simply doesn't work for me.

(I also don't need the cost of the data plan required to do the other stuff. The cell phone is purely to keep in contact when I'm out, the person most likely to call is my SO, and I make or get half a dozen calls a month on it on average.)

I know folks whose smartphone is their primary computing device with everything done with it, and I can only stare at them in blank incomprehension. It would not work for me, regardless of what phone I used.
