A few months ago, the Kindle Touch was on sale for $59 ($20 off) and I was thinking of getting one for my daughter. I spent some time comparing it with the NOOK and taking her to the stores to play with both and get her opinion. By the time I decided on the Kindle, the sale was over.
So I was mainly hoping to get a Kindle Touch on Prime Day. I was not able to get the $49 one, but I did get one without offers for $69, which is less than the cheapest regular price, so still a savings for me. My husband managed to get one of the $49 ones, so now my youngest can have one too. ("When do I get *my* reading Kindle?" he asked me when we were checking out readers at the store for his sister.)
They had an item from my wishlist on sale, so I got that too. They had one item from my saved for later cart, but by the time I noticed, it had already sold out. Some of the sale items were not heavily discounted, but interested me enough that I added them to my Saved for Later cart.
I bought:
Kindle Touch (without offers)
Audio cable (not a deal but the one in my car needs replacing and it was already in my cart)
GorillaPod SLR-Zoom Flexible Tripod (from my wishlist)
Mickey Mouse birthstone earrings (impulse)
2 Kindle Touch covers (buy 2 Kindle accessories from a list and get 15% off)
Logan's Roadhouse Gift Card (impulse)
I also bought the Kindle Unlimited 24 month membership -- I currently have the monthly subscription and since I seem to be using it, I thought I might as well save money on it.
