Well, kind of glad I didn't have the dough to try this. I was anticipating that I'd see everyone's goods and contemplate whether or not to start saving up for next year's.
In order for me to join something that comes at an annual cost, I'd have to be lured into making it my "main store" for everything. (ie. everything I legitimately need is there) Like my in-laws for Costco - they rarely even look anywhere else to shop, and genuinely by default want to shop there.
I like Amazon and am a little disappointed that the sale didn't tempt me into becoming a "prime" member. I'll continue to buy from them "regular style" the way I have, on an as-needed basis.
