Interesting! I just bought a pair of shoes at Amazon (not a "Prime Day" deal) and was offered a $5 "No Rush" credit if I accepted the longer due date.
But, the terms of the credit have changed substantially:

I've never seen the credit offered for anything but digital purchases, before.
I saws no other announcement or explanation, so I don't know if this is a long-term change. Anyway, I didn't need any sports/outdoors goods, so I passed on it.
